This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) sets out how Your Linen Service, Inc. Our Site is not intended for those under the age of 18.  If you are not at least 18 years old, please do not use the Site, its services, or provide us with any personal data.

What types of information do we collect from you?

If you enter into a contract for services with us and register for an account on the Site, you may pay for services through the Site. Your payment is processed by our third party payment processing service provider and we do not store your payment information.  This Policy does not apply to how your Personal Data will be handled by the third party payment processor.  Please refer to their privacy policy for the disclosure of how your payment information will be handled.

We may collect technical information about your device, such as the browser type and version, the operating system of your device, your access times, location, time zone setting, and click stream data.   Details of your visits to our Site (including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or to fulfil your orders within the Site.)

How We Collect Your Information

We may collect Personal Data from you in the following ways:

  • When you voluntarily provide that information as you interact with our Site, including by filling out forms on the Site or as you request estimates or services.
  • If you communicate with us, for example through the Contact Us feature, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
  • Details of any transactions you carry out through our Site and of the fulfilment of your requests.

We also automatically collect information as to how our visitors were directed to and how they navigate around our Site.  This information helps us understand how visitors to our Site use our services, so that we can improve our Site.

Transfer Of Your Personal Data

The Company is a corporation located in the United States. Your information, including Personal Data, is processed at our operating offices and in any other places where our service providers are located. It means that this information may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your country and where the data protection laws may differ than those from your jurisdiction. Collection and Use of Information from Children

As indicated above, our Site is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children and have no actual knowledge that anyone under the age of 16 has provided Personal Data to us.  None of the features of our Site is designed to attract children.  In the event that we learn that a person under the age of 16 has provided Personal Data to us, we will delete such Personal Data as soon as possible.

 

Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to opt out of receiving communications for marketing purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in the email you receive, or by contacting us at [provide an email address specifically for opt outs/other privacy concerns].  We will process your request as soon as possible in accordance with applicable law, but please be aware that in some circumstances you may receive a few more messages until the unsubscribe request is processed.

Generally, users cannot opt-out of these communications, but they will be primarily informational in nature, rather than promotional.

You have the Right to Portability: you have the right to obtain a copy of the Personal Data that we have processed about you in a portable and reasonably readily usable format to the extent technically feasible, where processing is carried out by automated means.

You have the Right to Opt-Out of the processing of Personal Data for targeted advertising or profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects for you.

Note that some of the above consumer rights, such as the Rights to Access, Delete, or Portability, are subject to certain limitations and exceptions and are not absolute rights.

 

How to exercise your privacy rights

We will do our best to respond to your request within 45 days of receipt.  If additional time is needed to respond to your request, we may extend the time to respond a further 45 days.

If we are unable to fulfil your request, we will inform you of that and the reasons for it within 45 days of receiving your request, including any appeal process . If you disagree with the decision and reasons, you may appeal the decision.

Our Site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the website of third parties. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note we do not review, control or monitor the practices, information or materials on any other website, and are not responsible or liable for the communications, information, content or materials from or the practices and policies (including without limitation privacy or data collection practices or policies) of any of those websites. How We Respond To Do-Not-Track Signals

Our Site does not respond to automated browser signals regarding tracking mechanisms, which may include “Do Not Track” instructions and other global privacy signals.

Data Retention Periods

We retain your Personal Data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, for example as long as you maintain an account with us.  In certain instances, we may keep it longer if:

  • it is necessary to comply with any legal requirement;
  • it is necessary for backup and disaster recovery purposes; or

Business Transfer
